Meet the Track 7 Family
Jim and Eileen Patterson are enjoying running Track 7 with their children, John and Shea, who are also involved in the day-to-day business. “We are excited to be doing all of this as a family.” John is the manager at the shop and can be found behind the counter at some point every day. Shea is a high school student at John S. Burke High School and works at Track 7 when it doesn’t interfere with his sports and school work.
Eileen Patterson was a Warwick Village Trustee from 2006 until 2020; she loves the Village of Warwick and thoroughly enjoys small town living — especially in this particular small town. Jim Patterson was born and raised in Warwick and is excited to be a part of the business community of his hometown. When he’s not at Track 7, he is the Director of Capitol Improvements at the Cathedral of St John the Divine in New York City. After 35 years as a carpenter, Jim is called on when a custom shipping crate is needed.
John Wenzel also lives in Warwick, and has been working the counter at Track 7 since 2016. John is Track 7’s go-to guy when a custom box is needed for the many odd-shaped shipments that come across the Track 7 counter. John lives with his rescue dog Mindy, and spends his free time snowboarding and playing golf.
As active members of Warwick’s small business community, the Patterson/Wenzel family’s commitment to community service is an important tradition at Track 7. “As a family-run business, there’s a special connection we have with our fellow Warwickians,” Eileen said. “We have a nice rapport with our customers because our daily goal is service with a smile — maybe even a laugh or two.”
